IMPAX for Radiology is a software application intended for use by, or on the order of, radiologists to review and analyze a variety of medical images and other evidence documents to record their findings. Options, when included, are additionally intended to allow orthopaedic surgery planning and quality control of medical images. Using a Radiologist license gives access to all features of IMPAX for Radiology.
The user of this device must at all times observe the rules of good clinical practice and carefully interpret the information computed by and/or displayed on this device and corroborate it with other clinical and technical patient data.

Fundamental IMPAX features and tools—such as viewing worklists, displaying reports, basic transformation of study images, and creating markups—are available under all licenses.
