IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Managing teaching files
If the Teaching Files tab is active, you can create new teaching files from any study that is currently displayed in the Text area or Image area.
To create new teaching files from the Text area
From the Text area, drag the Order bar from the right-hand pane onto a folder in the Teaching Files tab.
or
In the Report panel, right-click a key image and select Teaching File.
The teaching file is created in the currently selected folder. Its patient data is anonymized.

To create teaching files from the Image area
In the Text area's Study List, switch to the Teaching Files tab.
All teaching files are contained in a set of hierarchical folders.
Select the folder to place the teaching file in.
If nothing is selected, the teaching file is created at the top of the folder hierarchy. You must have the Modify permission on a folder to create a teaching file. Note that you can also add images to an existing teaching file by selecting it.
From the Image area, right-click an image to add to the teaching file and select Add to New Teaching File.
From the submenu, select:
Study—adds the entire study as a new teaching file.
Series—adds the right-clicked series as a new teaching file.
Image—adds the right-clicked image as a new teaching file.
Selected Images—adds any selected images as new teaching file. This option appears only when the right-clicked image is selected.
Key Images—adds key images as new teaching files. This option appears only for studies that have key images.
The patient data is anonymized and the teaching file is created in the currently selected folder. For larger studies, about 100 images per minute are transferred to the teaching file. You can continue working and the teaching file will continue being created in the background.
