Use the Volume Viewing tool to launch a series into the Volume Viewing window for MPR, MIP, and (if licensed) 3D analysis. Among the tasks you can perform in the Volume Viewing window are:
Real-time multiplanar reformatting of images into linear or curved plane
Maximum intensity projections of images and slice thickness changes
Non-invasive virtual endoscopy
3D volume measurements
Rapid sculpting and bone removal
To build 3D models of images
In the Image area, display the series to build a 3D model of.
From the Image area top toolbar, click Volume Viewing.
The button is disabled if the Volume Viewing software is not installed on this workstation.
If required, from the Series Selection dialog, select a series and click OK.
In the Volume Viewing window, display and modify the model as needed.

Save the model.
When done, exit from the volume Viewing window.
The model is added to the study as a new series called “Individually captured images”.
