You can define which tools, if any, appear on the Cine toolbar. These tools can then be used to modify series and study display while playing a cine. However, the tools placed on the Cine toolbar are for easy access and are not related to the Cine tool; therefore, when the Cine toolbar is closed, if a tool is enabled, it remains enabled.
To define which tools appear on the Cine toolbar
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.
Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize. ![]()
In the Customize dialog, switch to the Cine Viewer tab.
A Cine Viewer bar appears below or to the right of the dialog.
Select the Modality and Body Part (if available) to apply the tool settings to.
On the Cine Settings tab, under Selectable Controls, select the Tools checkbox.
To make room for tools, the Cine Viewer bar becomes wider or taller.
On the Cine Viewer tab, switch to the Cine Tools tab.
To add tools to the Cine toolbar, drag them from the Cine Tools tab to the Cine Viewer bar.
To remove tools already placed on the Cine Viewer bar, drag them off the bar to the Cine Tools tab.
In the Customize dialog, click Apply.
Repeat steps 4–9 for other modalities and body parts.
To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.
