The following tools are commonly used for manipulation of images.

| Markup Annotation | Adds text to an image | |
| Markup Caliper | Measures the distance between two points on an image | |
| Markup Ellipse | Measures an elliptical region of an image | |
| Markup Freeform | Measures an area of an image using a custom polygon | |
| Markup Ratio Caliper | Creates a ratio measurement of two lines on an image | |
| Markup Rectangle | Measures a rectangular region of an image | |
| Rotate 180 | Rotates images 180 degrees | |
| Rotate Left | Rotates images 90 degrees to the left | |
| Rotate Right | Rotates images 90 degrees to the right | |
| Volume Viewing | Launches a series into the Volume Viewing window for MIP, MPR, and (if licensed) 3D analysis | |

Changes image brightness and contrast by adjusting window center and window width values and gives access to preset window level values |
