What is IMPAX for Quality Control?

IMPAX for Quality Control is a software application intended for use by, or on the order of, a physician or privileged healthcare professional to access and provide quality control for medical images. Using a Technologist license gives access to all features of IMPAX for Quality Control.

Fundamental IMPAX features and tools—such as viewing worklists, displaying reports, basic transformation of study images, and creating markups—are available under all licenses. Most also include exporting features such as creating key images, CD burning, and DICOM printing. The Technologist license also always includes support for quality control of study data.

Other IMPAX features can optionally be made available under the Technologist license as required. These include:

• Creating and using hanging protocols

• Automation via wizards and scripts

• Creation and display of teaching files

• Breast imaging features

Features not available under a Technologist license include integrated TalkStation dictation and the orthopaedic surgery planning application.
