To prepare study images for interpretation

  1. Find the study by patient name or accession number.

  2. If the information assigned to a study at the modality does not match the order information from the RIS, fix the patient demographics or perform a quick fix.

  3. If the number of studies ordered does not match the number of studies performed, segment or clone the study into the required number of orders.

  4. If images from a patient were mistakenly included with another patient's images, split the study.

  5. Prepare the images for interpretation by adjusting window level, rotation, and magnification as required.

  6. If required, transmit the study to the appropriate destination.
