IMPAX for Orthopaedics is a software application intended for use by, or on the order of, an Orthopaedic Surgeon to review medical images, plan orthopaedic surgeries, and evaluate their results. Using an Orthopaedic Planning license gives access to all features of IMPAX for Orthopaedics.
Fundamental IMPAX features and tools—such as viewing worklists, displaying reports, basic transformation of study images, and creating markups—are available under all licenses. The Orthopaedic Planning license also includes support for orthopaedic surgery planning.
Other IMPAX features can optionally be made available under the Orthopaedic Planning license as required. These include:
Features that are not available under an Orthopaedic Planning license include the Configure area, integrated TalkStation dictation, creating and using hanging protocols, the quality control of study data, automation via wizards and scripts, and breast imaging features.
