Exporting and viewing images from CD or DVD

Studies can be burned to CD or DVD using the Export Images dialog. Studies are burned locally when your workstation includes a CD/DVD burner. When burning a CD/DVD locally, image data is saved to a burn job (the burn job is prepared). The burn job can then either be burned to a CD or DVD immediately, or it can be burned at a later time.

Note:

Note:

You cannot burn web images to CD or DVD. If the original images are not already in the image cache, you must retrieve them.

Studies are burned remotely when you are connected to another station with CD or DVD burning capability.

The burned images can be viewed on any compatible workstation without requiring the IMPAX Client software when the image viewer is included on the CD or DVD.
