The Text area is the component of the IMPAX Client that displays patient, order, study, and report information. It always appears on the same monitor as the List area. In one-monitor configurations, and optionally in two-monitor configurations, the Image area also appears on the same monitor as the List and Text areas.
When you cycle a worklist or open a study with images, the List area contracts. If the Image area is configured to appear on a separate monitor, the Text area appears below the List area. If the Image area shares the same monitor, however, it appears underneath the Image area, and you have to switch between the Text and Image areas.
To switch between the Image and Text areas on one monitor
From the Image area top toolbar, click Text.
The Text button is grayed and the arrow flips down.
The
Text area is displayed on top of the Image area.From the Text area, click Text.
If the button is disabled, no images are available in the Image area.
If you open a study with text, the Text area appears below the List area, regardless of monitor configuration.
To switch between the Text and List areas
With the Text area displayed, click the List area drawer.
The List area expands, covering the Text area.
To return to the Text area, click the List area drawer again.
