Information about the study is available in the Study panel of the Text area, beside the Study Highlights and below the Order panel.
If IMPAX is integrated with a RIS, study information is retrieved from it. Without a RIS, study information comes from the PACS system.
To view the study description
Display the Text area for the study of interest.
In the Text area, if the Study panel is contracted, click the Study bar to expand it.
Displayed information depends on interface configuration, but may include patient demographics, technologist name and comments, study location, study status, keywords, and study comments.
To expand the Study panel, drag the expandable bar to the left or the Study bar higher up.
You can also hide the Study Highlights and Study List by clicking the expandable bar's arrow.
To get contact information for a physician or technician listed in the Study panel, click Contact.
A dialog with contact information opens. To close it, click OK.
