Cycling studies in a worklist

In the List area, you can cycle an entire worklist, part of a worklist (based on priority groups), or specific studies in a worklist. When cycling, studies are placed in the cycle list in the Image area, along with their relevant priors if set to do so. The cycle list is a list of exams to review (analogous to a pile of film jackets). If cycling an entire worklist, studies that arrive or are removed in the worklist are automatically added to or removed from the Image area Cycle List.

To cycle studies in a worklist

  1. To cycle all or groups of studies in a worklist, in the worklist bar, click Auto Cycle. Cycle

  2. To cycle priority grouped studies in a worklist, in the worklist bar, right-click Auto Cycle Cycle and clear the checkbox beside each priority grouping rule you do not want to cycle studies for. Click Auto Cycle.

  3. To cycle specific studies, select them and right-click Add to Cycle List or Cycle.

  4. To cycle multiple worklists, in each worklist bar, click Auto Cycle. Cycle

    Note:

    Note:

If studies are in the worklist, Auto Cycle takes you directly to the Image area; therefore, you must return to the List area each time.

If you are cycling a worklist, when you finish dictating a study, IMPAX can be configured to automatically move, or cycle, to the next study in the list. The images for the next study open in the Image area and the study information appears in the Text area. You can also manually cycle forward and backward through the studies in the cycle list by clicking the arrows in the cycle control in the bottom left corner of the Image area.
