Before enterprise users can print IMPAX images to a DICOM printer, you must add the printer to the system by defining its attributes. Default values are provided.
To configure a new printer
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Printers.In the details pane, under the list of installed printers, click Add.
Define the printer names and network connections. Click Next.
Select the film size, type, and destination for the printer. Click Next.
If required, define the printable area of the printer. Click Next.
Select at least one print format for each modality or acquisition station. Click Next.
Select the magnification options to make available when printing. Click Next.
Select one or more taste look up tables to make available when printing. Click Next.
If required, specify logo files to make available to this printer. Click Next.
Optionally, select image simplification options for this printer.
Click Finish.
The printer appears in the list of available printers and can be selected by users. You can define print presets for it next.
 | Note: After creating the first printer for the site, you must log out and log back in before you can configure Composite Layout printing. Logging out is not required after adding subsequent printers. |
