Print formats define how study images are arranged in columns and rows when printed. When adding a printer or copying properties to a new printer, you must select at least one format for each modality. When editing a printer's configuration, you can change which formats are selected.
To select the supported print formats for each modality
Add a printer or select a printer to copy, enter information in the first three screens and click Next until you reach the Formats screen.

Select a printer to edit and switch to the Formats tab.
From the Modality/Station Name list, select the modality to define.
Under Format, select the checkboxes of the formats to make available for printing images from the selected modality.
Formats include a name followed by the number of rows by columns that are printed, such as Clear Film 10, 12.
Clear the checkboxes of the formats that should not be used.
Repeat steps 2–4 for all modalities to define or edit.
When finished, click Next or OK.
