To account for printer limitations or to make all prints conform to enterprise standards, you can choose to have certain image simplification options applied to all print jobs sent to this printer. When adding a printer or copying properties to a new printer, you can select one or more simplification options. When editing a printer's configuration, you can change which simplification options are selected.
To select image simplification options for a printer
Add a printer or select a printer to copy, enter information in the first seven screens and click Next until you reach the Simplification screen.

Select a printer to edit and switch to the Simplification tab.
To use any of the image simplification options, select the Perform Image Simplification checkbox.
If the printer accepts only 8-bit depth images, select the Convert all images to 8-bit image depth before sending checkbox.
If the printer cannot print in color, select the Convert all images to grayscale before sending checkbox.
To always overlay patient demographics on the printed images, select the Print Demographics checkbox.
If logo files were specified for this printer, select the Print logo checkbox to include them on prints.
If no logo files are specified, this checkbox does not appear.
Click Finish or OK.
