What is IMPAX for the Enterprise?

IMPAX for the Enterprise is a software application intended for use by, or on the order of, a physician or healthcare professional to access medical images and other evidence documents to provide care to patients. Using an Enterprise license gives access to the IMPAX for the Enterprise features.

The users of this device must at all times observe the rules of good clinical practice and carefully interpret the information computed by and/or displayed on this device and corroborate it with other clinical and technical patient data.

This Enterprise license provides access to the basic IMPAX features and tools, such as viewing worklists, displaying reports, basic transformation of study images, and creating markups. Other IMPAX features can optionally be made available under the Enterprise license as required. These include:

• Creating and using hanging protocols

• Automation via wizards and scripts

• 3D volumetric rendering

• Creation and display of teaching files

• Display of CAD objects

• Orthopaedic surgery planning

• Quality control of study data

All other IMPAX features are not available under a Enterprise license—including creating key images, CD burning, and DICOM printing.
