Enabling preconfigured image wizards

When authenticating with a smart card, impersonation is not available.

IMPAX is shipped with a set of preconfigured (or system) Image area wizards. You cannot delete these wizards, but you can enable and disable them.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

Do not enable both the MG Split and Regroup and the MG Split wizards.

To use a preconfigured image wizard

  1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.

  2. Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.

  3. In the Customize dialog, switch to the Wizards tab.

  4. Select the preconfigured wizard to use.

  5. If it is disabled, click Enable.

  6. If you enabled the 1x1, 2x2, or 3x3 wizard, switch to the Toolbar tab - Wizards tab, and drag the 1x1, 2x2, or 3x3 button to the context or top toolbar.

When enabled, most preconfigured wizards are applied automatically to studies from the applicable modality (US or XA). The 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3 wizards are applied by selecting the related tool and clicking the image to focus on.

  7. To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.

Tip

Tip:

The preconfigured wizard names are in English, even when using IMPAX in another language. To change these, impersonate the top-level role. In the Customize dialog - Wizards tab, select the wizard and click Edit. In the Edit Wizards dialog, in the Name field, type a translated name. (CJKT characters are not supported, however.) Click Save.
