Inverting images

Use the Invert tool to exchange the white and black areas in an image. For example, if a modality acquires images using a particular polarity, use Invert to reverse the polarity.

Note:

Note:

If an MG image contains padded pixels (or pixel padding range) as per the DICOM specification, the background remains black when the image is inverted.

To invert images

  1. From the Image area top toolbar, Window Level button menu, select Invert. Invert

  2. If required, change the scope of inversion to image, series, or study.

Otherwise, the default scope for window leveling is used.

  3. Click an image to invert.

Black and white areas of the images are reversed, and an Invert icon appears to the right of the affected images.
