When adding a DICOM printer, you configure which of its available attributes are to be used. You can later change most of these definitions, as required.
![]() | Tip: When a printer is added, a default print preset is created automatically based on the selected options. You can create other print presets for this printer as well. Certain printer configuration options cannot be changed unless you first modify or delete the print presets that use them. A warning message will appear when you try to modify a setting that a preset is dependent upon. |
To edit a printer's configuration
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Printers.
In either of the panes, select the name of the printer to edit.
If selected in the details pane, under the list of installed printers, click Edit.
Switch to the tab that contains the settings to modify. Available tabs are:
Identification—for changing the printer AE title, alias, hostname, and port.
Film—for changing which film size and type and film destination is selected.
Printable Area—for defining the printer's printable area.
Formats—for changing which print formats are available for each modality or station name.
Magnification—for changing which magnification types are applied to prints.
LUTs—for changing which taste look up tables are available when printing.
Logo—for adding or removing printer logo files.
Simplification—for changing which, if any, image simplification options are applied to all prints from this printer.
After changing options in a tab, click OK.
To change other settings, repeat steps 4 and 5.
