To advance to the next study after completing dictation
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role, or log in as the user.
Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize. ![]()
In the Customize dialog, switch to the User Profile tab.
Switch to the Workflow tab.
Select the Enable Active Worklist checkbox.
This option is most useful when used in conjunction with the displaying the oldest undictated studies first option.
Select any relevant sub-options:
To have the oldest, undictated studies open first, select the Show Oldest Undictated First checkbox.
To automatically identify current and prior studies and hang relevant priors, select the Enable Strict Worklist checkbox.
To include new studies as priors, select the Priors Can Be New checkbox.
Optionally, also select the Notify Me When checkbox.
When selected, if users complete dictation on a study, IMPAX automatically advances to the next newest study (whether dictated or not). When all studies for a patient are complete, the patient is removed from the worklist, and the next patient's studies are displayed.
To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.
For the Active Worklist feature to take effect, you must log out of the IMPAX Client and log back in.
