Use the Merge feature to combine various instances of one study into a single study in one location. The studies are merged into the study that has the smallest study_ref.

Requirements for merging a study include:
The study must be in cache in the cluster. Studies in cache are indicated with C or L in the Location column of the Study Manager search results.
The study status must support merging; for example, the study must not yet be approved.
You must have permission to merge studies.
The study must not have been archived.
To merge studies
On the Daily tab, click Study Manager.![]()
From the results list, select the first instance of the study to merge.
To select the next instance of the study to merge, hold down the Ctrl key as you click the other study.
Click Merge.
The studies are merged into one. The information is propagated to all DICOM entities that are synchronized with the IMPAX cluster. The information is not propagated to other linked clusters.
