IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base home > Maintaining IMPAX Server: Managing studies > Study Manager
When selecting criteria to find studies, try to be as specific as possible. The more detailed the criteria, the less time the system spends searching for a study and the more accurate the results are. If you are unsure of spelling; can remember only part of a word, name, or number; or cannot read the entire word or number, use wildcards to represent the unknown information.
To find studies using the Administration Tools
On the Daily tab, click Study Manager.![]()
Select one or more search criteria: Location, Modality, Study Date, Study Status, and so on.
If searching on a remote Location, do not include private fields. If you include a private field in a remote search, those fields appear empty or with value -1 in the search results. The criteria listed are not private.
Click Refresh. ![]()
![]() | Important! Clicking Refresh without selecting any search criteria beforehand causes the Administration Tools to freeze. If this happens, the Administration Tools must be stopped manually. |
View the results in the results list.
Each line in the list contains information about a single study for a patient. To sort the results according to a different column, click the column name. The data is resorted alphabetically or numerically based on the content of that column.
![]() | Note: If more than a thousand studies are returned, only the most recent thousand studies are displayed. To find the study you are looking for, narrow the search criteria and try the query again. |
