Basic routing rules send all studies from a particular modality (for example, any images that are CR) to a specific destination. Advanced routing rules let you set routing times and destinations and enable prefetching.
To create an advanced routing rule
On the Setup tab, click Source Manager.
Switch to the Other tab.
Beside the Routing Preset list, click Routing Manager.
From the bottom of the Manager Dialog, click New.
In the Routing Preset field, type a name for the routing preset.
Tip:
To create multiple rules for one routing preset, use the same preset name and save it for each rule. After saving, you can specify different destinations and constraints for each rule you are setting up for that preset.
From the Routing Time list, select a time for the rule to be active.
Instructions on how to modify the list of available times are provided in Adding times to the list of advanced routing times.
From the Study Status list, select a status of the study to be affected by the rule: Dictated, New, Interpretation Approved, or Interpretation Transcribed.
Select the routing conditions to apply to the routing rule.
Checkbox When selected Prefetch to selected destinations Priors deemed relevant are routed to the selected destinations Route to selected destinations Studies generated by the acquisition station are routed to the selected destinations If key images exist, route only the key images Only the study’s key images and associated CSPS, GSPS, and KOSD DICOM objects are routed to the selected destinations Only route studies with key images Only those studies with key images are routed to the selected destinations Click Save.
The Edit button for selecting routing destinations and the Add and Remove buttons for creating routing constraints are enabled only after the rule is initially saved.
Define the routing destinations:
Under Routing Destination, click Edit.
In the Select destinations dialog, select target destinations in the Available Destination list and click Move Left
to
add them to the Routing Destinations list.Click OK.
Create routing constraints, if required.
Click Save.
