Basic routing rules send all studies from a particular modality (for example, any images that are CR) to a specific destination. Routing options based on timing or study status may also be available, based on system configuration.
Manual routing is also required after fixing studies.
To create basic routing rules
On the Setup tab, click Routing Manager.
Click New.
From the Modality list, select the modality whose studies are to be routed.
From the Destination list, select the station where the images from this modality should be routed to.
If available, select one of the two routing options:
Route studies x seconds after they arrive—Sends images to the destination the specified number of seconds after they arrive at the archive.
Route studies after they have been marked as read—Sends images to the destination only after they have been marked as read by a physician.
Save.
