When configuring stations, define which monitor displays the List area and Text area. For radiologists, the standard configuration is three monitors—one color monitor for the List and Text areas, and two diagnostic monitors for the Image area. For clinicians, the List, Text, and Image areas can all appear on a single monitor. Generally, we do not recommend placing the List and Text areas on diagnostic monitors.
To define which monitor displays the List and Text areas
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.
or
Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu
and select Station Configuration.
If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a single station or station container to change all stations within that container.
In the details pane, expand the General bar.
Switch to the Monitor Layout tab.
From the List Area on Monitor list, select which monitor the List and Text areas appear on, from 1 to 4.
For stations, the number of available monitors is detected automatically. Monitors are numbered from left (1) to right. Selecting 1 places the List and Text areas on the leftmost monitor.
If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
or
Or, if in the Station configure dialog, click OK.
