IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Performing quality control > Correcting patient and study information
When information assigned to a study at the modality does not match the order information from the RIS (for example, the patient ID or Accession Number does not match), the study cannot be verified and must be fixed. This can happen if the RIS and/or Connectivity Manager is unreachable when the images are sent to IMPAX. Therefore, you can re-verify batches of "broken" studies using the Quick Fix Up command.
![]() | CAUTION! In a multiple IMPAX cluster environment (multiple system), information for studies that are fixed in IMPAX (for example, demographics updated) are not propagated to other systems. Therefore, the other systems may show different patient demographics unless a system administrator manually deletes the study(ies) from all other locations and re-transfers. |
To automatically fix demographic information in a batch of studies
In the List area, expand the unverified studies worklist.
or
If required, create an unverified studies worklist and add it to the List area.
In the worklist, select the studies to fix up.
From the worklist bar menu
,
select Quick Fix Up.
A Quick Fixup Status dialog opens as the system searches for matching orders based on the patient ID and/or accession number.
To pause the processing if needed, click Pause. To resume, click Resume.
When the processing is complete, click Close.
The studies that are verified using these demographics are removed from the unverified studies worklist. Remaining are the studies for which the system could not find a match.
