The Pin/Unpin Studies tool is useful for comparing a study to one or more other studies. The pinned study remains in place as you navigate to others.
To pin a study in place
Select a screen format and study view mode that display two or more studies at once.
Navigate to the study to pin in place.
From the context or top toolbar, click Pin/Unpin Studies.
Or, if using the context toolbar text menu (Ctrl + right-click), select Organization > Pin/Unpin Studies.
Click the study to fix in place.
A pin icon appears in the top middle of the study.
To deactivate the Pin tool, right-click.
The pinned study stays fixed in place as you scroll through other studies for the patient.
To unpin a study
Click Pin/Unpin Studies.
Click the pinned study.
 | Note: When viewing mammography studies using comparative review, the current study is automatically pinned in the review modes that display a current and prior study. And hanging protocols can be defined such that the last study is always pinned in the last available display frame or monitor. |
