Displaying buttons or text menus in the context toolbar

The Image area's context toolbar can be displayed as a set of buttons that is configurable per user or role based on modality (and body part, optionally) or as a text menu. Refer to .

Most commonly, button mode is set as the default, but IMPAX can be configured to use text menu mode by default. Regardless, you can use the context toolbar in either mode at any time.

To view the context toolbar in different modes

  1. To display an unpinned context toolbar in its default mode, right-click anywhere in the Image area until it appears.

The context toolbar displays either a set of buttons or a text menu.

  2. To view the context toolbar in the other mode, Ctrl + right-click.

The context tool is displayed in the other mode.

Tip

Tip:

You can pin the context toolbar in button or text mode. It then becomes a floating palette that does not close when the pointer moves away from it, so you do not have to right-click or Ctrl+right-click to use it.
