Creating standard worklists for unverified studies

When information assigned to a study at the modality does not match the order information from the RIS (for example, the patient ID does not match), the study cannot be verified and must be fixed. You can verify batches of "broken" studies using the Quick Fixup command. To more efficiently manage studies to be fixed, create a worklist for all unverified studies.

Note:

Note:

To retrieve unverified studies, users must be assigned a study-based permission that includes the View Study operation with the Include Unverified Studies option selected. Refer to Defining new study access rules.

To create a standard worklist for unverified studies

  1. In the List area, click Worklists.

  2. In the Worklist Library, under Standard Worklists, click New.

  3. In the Worklist Name field, type a name that describes the purpose of the worklist.

  4. Ensure that the Type of Worklist is Standard Worklists.

  5. On the Search tab, define and perform an advanced search to determine which studies will be displayed in the worklist. Include the HIS/RIS Verified criteria and set its values to:

Is | Failed Verification—verification was required, but the study failed verification.

  6. Switch to the Organization tab and select a location for the worklist in the role hierarchy.

  7. Click OK.

The worklist is added to the Standard Worklists group.
