Once DICOM printers are configured, you can create presets for them. Presets are sets of print options that users can then select and apply to particular print jobs. You can add presets from scratch or you can base it on an existing preset of similar type and modify the settings.
To copy print preset properties to another preset
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Preferences.To copy a user preset, in the navigation pane, select the user.
or
To copy a system preset, select a top-level role.
Presets added to one top-level role become available in all top-level roles.
In the details pane, expand the Image Area bar.
Switch to the Print Presets tab.
In the details pane, under Available Printing Presets, select the preset to copy.
You can filter the list by selecting Show user presets only or Show both user and system presets or by selecting a particular printer from the Show Presets for Printer list.
Click Copy.
In the Adding New Preset screen, modify the preset name and optionally change its modality and default settings. If copying a system preset to a user, select Copy Preset to User Presets. If copying a user preset to the system, select Copy Preset to System Preset. Click Next.
Select the appropriate film size and type, orientation, and format options for the preset. Click Next.
Select the magnification and smoothing values for the preset. Click Next.
Set the density and border values for the preset. Click Next.
Select the taste look up table values for the preset. Click Next.
If required, change the assignment of logo files to the preset. Click Next.
Optionally, change custom configuration strings for the preset.
Click Finish.
The print preset becomes available for selection when printing.
