To include advanced or alternative configuration options as part of a print preset, add them as a custom configuration string. These strings are vendor and model dependent. Refer to the printer documentation.
To add custom configuration strings to presets
Add a preset or select a preset to copy, enter information in the first six screens and click Next until you reach the Custom screen.

Select a preset to edit and switch to the Custom tab.
To use a custom configuration string, select the Use Custom Configuration String checkbox.
In the Custom Configuration String field, type the configuration information, up to 256 characters.
Click Finish or OK.
 | Tip: For Agfa Drystar printers, we recommend that you select the Use Custom Configuration String checkbox, but you can leave the Custom Configuration String field blank. This will pull in vendor-provided configuration strings. |
