IMPAX Client components

The IMPAX Client consists of four main areas, each dedicated to presenting particular types of information.

List area overview

Used to configure and cycle worklists and to search for studies.

Text area overview

Presents study, order, and report information, including key images. You can also access teaching files through the Text area.

Image area overview

Study images are displayed, read, and marked up in the Image area.

Configure area overview

PACS Administrators use the Configure area to set up roles and users, define printers, configure stations, and set certain preferences.

Other windows, such as MPR/MIP/3D, the Orthopaedic application, and the Knowledge Base, appear when needed for performing those functions.
