Identifying acquisition stations: Concepts

After you have added all stations using Network Management, you must identify which of those stations are acquisition stations. Before the system can receive images from a modality, you must set up the modality in the Source Manager.

The Source Manager allows you to determine how images from acquisition stations are identified and verified and how demographics are determined. It also lets you customize image routing, compression, and field mapping.
