Navigating backward through a comparative review sequence

IMPAX automatically displays mammography studies in the configured Comparative Review Mode:

You can then step through the rest of the modes in a comparative review sequence. These modes are designed for optimal screening of breast images. You can always move back to the previous mode.

CAUTION!

CAUTION!

In a non-IMPAX RIS environment, do not re-assign the right and left arrow keys from patient navigation. If reassigned, the behavior can resort back to patient navigation. For example, you assign the right and left arrow keys to Comparative Review Mode navigation. A study in the Cycle List then fails verification and a demographic warning is displayed. If you do not acknowledge the warning, the right and left arrow keys are active but resort back to patient navigation instead of the expected Comparative Review Mode navigation.

To navigate backward through a comparative review sequence

  1. From the Image area top toolbar, click Previous Comparative Review Mode. Previous Comparative Review Mode

    or

If configured on your workstation, use the keyboard shortcut assigned to the Previous Comparative Review Mode.

The mammography study is displayed in the previous mode. If some of the required studies are not available for the comparative review mode (for example, a prior study is unavailable), the mode is skipped. The sequence button representing that mode is also disabled.

Note:

Note:

Stepping through a comparative review sequence is a loop. If the last Comparative View Mode of the list is applied and you click Next Comparative Review Mode, the study is displayed in the first mode of the list.
