Editing an image wizard's name, description, or trigger

Image wizards are recorded sets of Image area actions. As required, you can change their name, description, and trigger method.

To edit an image wizard's name, description, or trigger

  1. If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.

    If editing a preconfigured wizard, you must impersonate the top-level role.

  2. Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.

  3. In the Customize dialog, switch to the Wizards tab.

  4. In the list, select the wizard to edit.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. In the Edit Wizards dialog, make any of the following changes:

    • Type a different name in the Name field.

    • Type a different description in the Description field.

    • To change when the wizard is applied, select a different option from the Trigger list. If you select an option other than Toolbar or Jog Shuttle, also select the appropriate Modality and Body Part values.

  7. Click Save.

  8. If you changed to a Toolbar trigger, switch to the Toolbar tab, switch to the Wizards tab on the Toolbar tab, and add the wizard button to the top toolbar or context toolbar.

    Assign it to a keyboard shortcut.

  9. To close the Customize dialog, click OK.
