When defining hanging protocol rules for CR, DR, DX, or MR studies, you get a default list of possible values that you can select for each field. You can build up similar lists of values for other modalities as well.
To add series description values for hanging protocols
If setting preferences for other users, impersonate the user or role.
Hanging protocols created at the role level can be edited or removed only when impersonating that role. They are visible to but not editable by any lower-level users or roles. They are not visible to any higher-level roles. Hanging protocols created at the user level can be viewed, edited, or removed only by the user who created them; they are not visible to higher-level roles.
Press F12 or, from the Image area top toolbar, click Customize.
In the Customize dialog, switch to the Hanging Protocol tab.
Click New Series Description.
In the Series Description dialog, from the Modality list, select the modality to add values to.
Click New.
In the Series Description field, type the description text.
Click Save.
To add other descriptions, repeat steps 6–8. To define descriptions for other modalities, repeat steps 5–8.
To delete any existing series descriptions, select them and click Delete.
When finished, click Close to return to the Hanging Protocol tab of the Customize dialog.
To save the changes and close the Customize dialog, click OK.
Added series description values become available for selection.
