IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Managing teaching files
If given permission to do so, you can perform complex searches for teaching files using the Advanced Search. For example, you can search for all teaching files with a specific teaching file comment that you are using to identify studies for a clinical trial.
To find teaching files using Advanced Search
In the List area, click the Advanced Search bar to expand it.
From the Search for list, select Teaching Files.
You can only search for teaching files if Location is set to System. System searches are executed on the local IMPAX cluster.
From the Add Criteria list, select the criteria to search on. In doing so, keep the following in mind:
To search for a specific teaching file or folder by name, use the Item Name criterion.
To search for a teaching file based on the comments added to it, use the Teaching File Comments criterion.
Refine the search expression by adding and removing criteria to get the appropriate results.
Type or select the values to search on for each criterion.
Click Search.
Any teaching files that match the search options are displayed and you can view them.
![]() | Tip: When a search is in progress, you can stop it by clicking the Stop button that appears next to the Search button. |
