Disabling the blank CD or DVD AutoPlay prompt for a Windows XP workstation

In Windows, the AutoPlay feature can be set up to display a prompt every time you insert or open various types of media such as music files, video files, blank CDs, or blank DVDs. The prompt asks you how you would like to handle the media. When you burn image data to multiple CDs or DVDs and the prompt is enabled, it displays each time you insert a new disk. To avoid this annoyance, the prompt can be disabled.

Note:

Note:

The prompt does not appear when burning image data if you have Windows XP Service Pack 3.
