IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Exporting reports and images > Exporting and viewing images from CD or DVD
A local CD/DVD burn job must be started to complete this procedure. The CD or DVD cannot be organized for a remote burn job.
From the Organize media screen of the Export Images dialog, you can organize image data (patients, studies, series, and images) from the selected burn job on one or more CDs or DVDs for burning. Only one layout is shown at a time.
To organize the CD or DVD layout
To create a new disc, click Create new Disc.
To view another layout, from the List of Contents on a Disc No list, select the disc number.
To move image data from one disc to another:
From the list of contents, click the image data you want to move.
From the Move to Disc list, select the disc you want to move the image data to.
Click Move to Disc.
To automatically place the image data for each patient on a separate disc, select the Place each patient on a separate disc checkbox.
To burn more than one copy of a disc, from the Copies list, select the number of copies to burn.
The default setting is one.
Under Media type, select the type of disc you are using.
Click Burn.
