Configuring IMPAX Reporting: Workflow

You can configure the embedded reporting solution for IMPAX called IMPAX Reporting for use by those who have permission to dictate reports.

To configure IMPAX Reporting

  1. Configure the IMPAX RIS Client.

  2. Map IMPAX Client users to their IMPAX RIS user IDs.

  3. Define the appropriate dictation permissions.

  4. Configure stations to retrieve data from the IMPAX RIS and IMPAX databases.

  5. Determine what is displayed in the Text area when a study is opened.

  6. Select IMPAX Reporting as the dictation solution.

  7. Specify where the addendum and status line are placed in existing reports.

  8. Determine the viewing mode for Microsoft Word, if the Radiologist field is populated when creating a new report, and if report remarks are automatically displayed.

  9. Enable or disable speech synchronization for your speech recognition profile.

  10. Verify the installation and configuration for IMPAX Reporting.
