IMPAX 6.5.1 Server Knowledge Base home > Maintaining IMPAX Server: Managing studies > Study Manager
An event may cause the RIS or Connectivity Manager to go down while studies are still being acquired. As the studies come into the system, they will be unverified. Use the Fix All Studies tool to efficiently repair most or all of the studies that went unverified.
![]() | CAUTION! If two servers are involved in an integration and a study has been fixed in IMPAX (for example, images moved from one patient to another, demographics updated, and so on), the other application may show different patient demographics, or images that belong to a different study or patient. Depending on the integration, the third-party application will not get the changes unless a system administrator manually deletes the study on the third-party server and resends it. |
To fix all studies
On the Daily tab, click Study Manager.![]()
From the Location list, select System or Unverified.
From the results list, select the study to fix.
Click Fix All Studies. ![]()
Review the results presented in the dialog.
A study can be fixed if:
Both the Patient ID and Accession Number are available
Only one matching study is returned from a HIS query
If only one piece of information is available, if no studies were returned, or if more than one study is returned, the study cannot be fixed.
After fixing studies, you must manually route them to the preferred location.
