Basic routing rules send all studies from a particular modality (for example, any images that are CR) to a specific destination. Routing options based on timing or study status may also be available, based on system configuration.
Once configured, basic routing rules can be modified.
To modify a basic routing rule
On the Setup Manager, click Routing Manager.
From the list of routing rules, select the routing rule to modify.
From the Modality list, you can select a different modality to route based on.
From the Destination list, you can select a new destination to route images to.
If available, you can modify the selections for the two routing options:
Route studies x seconds after they arrive—Sends images to the destination the specified number of seconds after they arrive at the archive.
Route studies after they have been marked as read—Sends images to the destination only after they have been marked as read by a physician.
Click Save.
