Troubleshooting: Administration Tools freeze after unconstrained query

Issue

While searching for studies in the Study Manager, clicking Refresh without selecting any search criteria beforehand causes the Administration Tools to freeze.

Details

To prevent this problem, select at least one search criterion before clicking Refresh.

If Refresh is clicked before selecting any search criteria, the Administration Tools must be stopped manually.

Solution

To stop the Administration Tools on an AS300 Database Server

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Select Administrative Tools.

3. Select Services.

4. Right-click Administration Tools Server and select Stop.

To stop the Administration Tools on an AS3000 Database Server

1. Log into the AS3000 Database Server as the root user.

2. Navigate to the /etc/init.d directory.

3. To stop the Administration Tools type ./IMPAXjsgw stop.

4. To restart the Administration Tools type ./IMPAXjsgw start.

After stopping the Administration Tools, close the Administration Tools windows and if they were opened remotely, close the web browser.
