IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Conducting rounds or conferences > Capturing current study presentation using snapshots

Creating snapshots

You can lay out a study or studies in the Image area for future reference, rounds, or conferences and take a snapshot of it. You can have one or more snapshots for a study. A snapshot includes the presentation state (including screen formats, markups, window levels, and relevant studies) of all images at the time the snapshot was taken regardless if the changes are saved to the database.

Note:

Note:

Snapshots do not include any temporary state that cannot be saved to the database such as wizards, cross-study linking, manual linking, adjustments for patient movement in auto-linking, Text area and Image area synchronization, and so on.

To create a snapshot

  1. To display a study in the Image area, in the List area, use cycle or open study.

  2. Lay out the study so that it appears as you would like it.

  3. From the Image area top toolbar, click Snapshot. Add snapshot

The snapshot is saved in the snapshot list with a date and time title. The user name of the creator is also displayed in brackets.

  4. Take any other snapshots required for the study.
