Deleting job requests

When any IMPAX user attempts to print a study to film, transmit a study to another station, burn a study to CD or DVD, or retrieve a study, a job request is logged in the system. Jobs that have not yet been processed can be deleted. This may be necessary, for example, when a job has encountered an unrecoverable error or when a requested job is not needed.

To delete job requests

  1. In the List or Configure area, from the Job Monitor menu Options, select Job Manager.

  2. If appropriate, in the Job Manager dialog, select Show Jobs for All Users.

  3. Optionally, to sort the jobs by status, click the Job Status column heading.

    You cannot delete jobs that are in Progress status.

  4. In the job list, select the job to delete. To delete more than one job, use Ctrl + click to selective non-consecutive jobs or Shift + click to select consecutive jobs.

  5. Click Delete.

    Right-click the selected jobs and select Delete.

  6. When done, to close the dialog, click OK.
