IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Exporting reports and images > Managing print, transmit, and retrieve jobs
When an IMPAX user attempts to print a study to film, transmit a study to another station, prepare a CD or DVD burn job, or retrieve a study, a job request is logged in the system. All jobs are prioritized and monitored.
To get a quick overview of job status
Look at the Job Monitor on the
List or Configure area bar. ![]()
The first button gives the number of in-progress jobs that have not encountered any problems. The second button gives the number that have failed. Both include counts for all system users.
You can view job status at any time.
To view job details
From the Job Monitor menu
,
select Job Manager.
In the Job Manager dialog, from the Job Type list, select the type of job you are interested in: All, Print, Transmit, or Retrieve.
To view jobs in a particular status, from the Job Status list, select the status: All, Batched, Done, Error, New, Offline, Open, Progress, Retry, or Suspended.
Error, Offline, Retry, and Suspended are all considered failed jobs. Refer to Job status reference.
Select either Show Jobs for Current User or Show Jobs for All Users.
If you switch from one option to the other (for example, Show Jobs for Current User to Show Jobs for All Users, you must click Refresh to see the jobs for that option.
To sort columns if required, click the column title.
Available columns of information are Job Status, User, Job Type, Identifier, Source, Destination, and Priority.
When done, to close the dialog, click OK.
