Monitoring job status

When an IMPAX user attempts to print a study to film, transmit a study to another station, prepare a CD or DVD burn job, or retrieve a study, a job request is logged in the system. All jobs are prioritized and monitored.

To get a quick overview of job status

  1. Look at the Job Monitor on the List or Configure area bar.
    Job Monitor

The first button gives the number of in-progress jobs that have not encountered any problems. The second button gives the number that have failed. Both include counts for all system users.

You can view job status at any time.

To view job details

  1. From the Job Monitor menu Options, select Job Manager.

  2. In the Job Manager dialog, from the Job Type list, select the type of job you are interested in: All, Print, Transmit, or Retrieve.

  3. To view jobs in a particular status, from the Job Status list, select the status: All, Batched, Done, Error, New, Offline, Open, Progress, Retry, or Suspended.
