Job status reference

The Job Manager dialog lists all active transmit, retrieve, and print jobs. Each job has a status. The table below describes each status.

Status Description Example
Batched A batch transmission has been enabled.
Done The job is finished. The job record is deleted soon after the job reaches this state.
Error The job has encountered an unrecoverable error.
New The job has been created or retried and is ready for processing.
Offline The study to be retrieved is on a piece of media that is offline. The job cannot be completed until the media is back online. The study is on a CD and has to be retrieved.
Open The job has been created but is not ready for processing. The job will be closed after a certain time. When the SCP routes studies to external destinations, it creates an OPEN ROUTE job. The job stays open until configuration timeout.
Progress The job is currently being processed. Study data is being sent to a DICOM printer.
Retry The job has not been completed successfully, but may succeed on retry. Print or transmit job has failed due to network error.
Suspended A job has been suspended, but will resume automatically when the target becomes available. During a study retrieval, the cache filled up. The job cannot continue, but this is not an error. The job will restart when the cache is cleared.
