IMPAX 6.5.1 Client Knowledge Base: Extended > Logging in and out
When you log out of IMPAX, your current settings are remembered. For example, any studies you have set aside will still be set aside when you log in again.
To log out of IMPAX
From the List or Configure area bar, click Logout.
IMPAX closes and the login screen is displayed. Your settings are remembered. This includes any studies you have set aside or opened in the Image area to refer back to later.
By default, the IMPAX Client logs out automatically after a set period of inactivity. The time period for the automatic logout can be changed, or turned off; refer to Setting an automatic logout time. When the Client logs out automatically, the worklist that was open remains open and the study currently being displayed in the Image area is set aside, creating a tab for the patient at the bottom of the Image area. The rotation and flips, navigation point, screen layout, window level, and markups for the set aside study are saved so you can return to the study when you log back in.
![]() | Note: If you are configured to use the IMPAX Reporting integration, when logging out of the IMPAX Client, you are not returned to the login screen. To start up the IMPAX Client again, you must use the shortcut. |
