By default, if a user leaves a station or if the station is simply idle, the IMPAX Client automatically logs out the current user, setting aside the study currently being displayed. This prevents others from using the same login, and maintains system security.
 | Note: When the IMPAX Client automatically logs out the current user, the process of importing studies from CD or DVD stops. If the site regularly imports many large studies from CD or DVD, we recommend disabling automatic logout or extending the automatic logout idle time to ensure all studies are imported. |
To set an automatic logout time
From the Configure drawer menu
, select Stations.or
Or, from the List area bar, click the User ID menu
and select Station Configuration.If in the Configure area, in the navigation pane, select a station.
In the details pane, expand the General bar.
Switch to the Security tab.
To disable automatic logout, clear the Automatic Logoff checkbox.

To enable automatic logout, select the Automatic Logoff checkbox. Type or select a number between 1 and 999 Minutes of idle time after which the user is automatically logged out.
If in the Configure area, the changes are saved automatically when you switch context.
