Network station fields

The options that follow are available when adding stations or modifying stations on the network.

Field	Description
Port	The port the remote station uses for sending and receiving DICOM communications. The default port is 104.
Packet Size	The maximum size in bytes of the packet used to communicate with the remote station. The default value is 100,000 bytes.
Read Timeout	How long a communication pause is tolerated before the connection times out and resets. The default value is 300 seconds.
Connect Timeout	How long the system waits for a response when trying to establish communication with the new station. If timeout limit is exceeded, communication fails. The default value is 30 seconds.
Telerad Station	Indicates whether the station is a telerad station. A telerad station is a station that sends and receives communications to and from external clusters.
